Today, WWE announced that WWE Fastlane will take place on Saturday, October 7th from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. It will be the first premium live event to emanate from Indianapolis in over seven years. As always WWE Fastlane will stream live exclusively on Peacock in the US and WWE Network everywhere else.
With this year’s event being held in Indianapolis, one name comes to mind Pat McAfee who has a history with the company via announce team and wrestler. Could we see him hosting the event like Bad Bunny did for Backlash in Puerto Rico? You will have to imagine the WWE will have some plans for the superstar, who was one of the more entertaining aspects of SmackDown while on duty for commentary alongside Michael Cole. WWE will no doubt do its best to continue its streak of successful premium live events this year and will look to capitalize on the stars they can bring in whenever they are in their cities.
