Buckle up, citizens of Adventure City. Ryder and his team of pups will once again come and save the day! This time, though, they’re getting one heck of cosmic upgrade. That’s right, the Paw Patrol returns to theaters this fall in Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie! Chase, Skye, Marshall, and even Liberty, the team’s latest edition from its first feature-length film in 2021, are back for a new, feature-length film. You can watch the new trailer here:

Before making the leap to the silver screen, Paw Patrol has graced the small screen on Nick Jr. since August of 2013. The show, and now films, follow the exploits of a young boy, Ryder, and his team of talking pups as they continually save the day from disaster. “No job is too big, no pup is too small” for this band of heroes…. Paramount announced the new film earlier this spring, and looks like the group may be facing their biggest challenge yet.

Here’s the official synopsis from Paramount:

When a magical meteor crash lands in Adventure City, it gives the PAW Patrol pups superpowers, transforming them into The MIGHTY PUPS! For Skye, the smallest member of the team, her new powers are a dream come true. But things take a turn for the worse when the pups’ archrival Humdinger breaks out of jail and teams up with Victoria Vance, a meteor-obsessed mad scientist, to steal the superpowers and turn themselves into supervillains. With the fate of Adventure City hanging in the balance, the Mighty Pups have to stop the supervillains before it’s too late, and Skye will need to learn that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference.

At first glance, though, it doesn’t appear that many actors will reprise their prior roles for Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie. In fact, from the initial cast list, it seems as if none of them will return other than Ron Pardo (Mayor Humdinger). Joining the cast, however, are some very familiar names. Chris Rock, Serena Williams, James Marsden, Kristen Bell, and others all lend their talents to the pups’ latest adventure!
