Fans of Resident Evil (the video game series, not the live-action series that are very loosely based on said games) might be aware Resident Evil: Death Island will release pretty soon in theaters. In fact, Japanese audiences will see this CGI horror anime film on July 7, 2023. So what about those of us outside of Japan, or who don’t care for movie theaters? Resident Evil: Death Island ~ Home Video Details
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is proud to announce that they will be releasing Resident Evil: Death Island by director Eiichiro Hasumi for home video via that official trailer on YouTube above. This CGI action horror anime film will release on DVD, digital, Blu-ray, and 4K Steelbook. Resident Evil: Death Island will get that home video release on July 25, 2023. That’s 2 and a half weeks after its theatrical debut, which is pretty quick, mind you. Unfortunately, there’s no word on where you can preorder this anime film, so you’re likely going to have to wait for that date to get it.
