Fall is my favorite time of year at the Disneyland Resort. There are so many Halloween events, The Haunted Mansion flips to The Nightmare Before Christmas, and there are so many new tasty treats and merchandise!
The Disneyland Resort has announced that beginning this September we can celebrate the return of our favorite fall celebrations! Coming soon will be Halloween Time, Plaza de la Familia, as well as Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party! So, let’s dive into the details!
HALLOWEEN AT THE DISNEYLAND RESORT!
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will be from September 1-Oct 31, 2023, and feature décor and flavorful treats across the resort. Mickey Mouse and his pals will be wearing “bewitching” new outfits and a brand new gingerbread house will be on display in the Haunted Mansion Holiday.
Of course, the Main Street Pumpkin Festival will return to Disneyland, as well as the transformation of Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park into Radiator Screams is happening. There the local residents and establishments are decked out in their Haul-O-Ween best.
The “Halloween Screams” nighttime spectacular returns to Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, Rivers of America, and in front of “it’s a small world.” Make sure to get your MagicBand+ in order to add another devious dimension to the show! The band will have ominous illuminations, as well as shivering vibrations to go along with the show.
Then on select nights, fireworks will be conjured up in the skies above. In order to make way for “Halloween Screams,” the nighttime spectacular “Wondrous Journeys” is scheduled to make its last performance of the year on Aug. 31.
Plaza de la Familia returns to celebrate the spirit of Día de los Muertos at the Disney California Adventure Park from Sept. 1 through Nov. 2, 2023. This event will offer delicious Mexican cuisine, as well as beloved entertainment featuring characters and songs from Disney and Pixar’s Academy Award-winning film “Coco.”
OOGIE BOOGIE BASH – A DISNEY HALLOWEEN PARTY!
The best family-friendly event, Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, returns to Disney California Adventure this year for more nights than ever before! This event will bring out rare characters, villains, and more on 25 select evenings between Sept. 5 and Oct. 31, 2023.
These tickets go on sale to the general public on June 29th.
MAGIC KEYHOLDER PERK
Magic Key holders will have the opportunity to purchase from a select amount of pre-sale tickets beginning June 27, before tickets are available to the general public.
