Watch out, Wade. Negasonic Teenage Warhead is back!
Deadline revealed today that Brianna Hildebrand will officially return for Deadpool 3. She reprises her role from the first two films as the mutant Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Joining Hildebrand in returning to the Ryan Reynolds-fronted Marvel franchise is Shioli Kutsuna. Kutsuna will also reprise her role as NTW’s ninja girlfriend, Yukio. Yukio joined the franchise in Deadpool 2.
Hildebrand and Kutsuna join the growing number of previously announced returning cast members. Deadpool 3 will include appearances by Karan Soni (Deadpool’s cab driver sidekick Dopinder), Leslie Uggams (roommate Blind Al), Morena Baccarin (Wade’s fiancée Vanessa), Stefan Kapicic (metal mutant Colossus), and Rob Delaney (Peter, the human member of X-Force).
The film will also feature Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen, as well as Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. Reynolds, of course, reprises the lead role of Wade Wilson/Deadpool.
Deadpool 3 will mark the character’s “official” entrance into the existing Marvel Cinematic Universe, following Disney’s acquisition of Fox. Plot details of the film remain under wraps.
Hildebrand’s credits include the film Tragedy Girls and series Lucifer and The Exorcist. Kutsuna appeared in Netflix’s Murder Mystery, and will next take on Invasion on Apple TV+.
Deadpool 3 currently plans to release November 8, 2024. You can stream the first two films in the franchise on Disney+ now.
