It’s not quite summer blockbuster time, but there’s still a few big movies premiering in May. Marvel fans won’t want to miss Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The long-awaited Disney live-action remake of The Little Mermaid also premieres this month. And nothing says blockbuster quite like Fast X, the latest in the multi-decade-spanning Fast and Furious franchise.
On the TV side, look out for the returns of buzzed-about shows like Fear the Walking Dead on AMC and Queer Eye on Netflix. (Yes, I realize how odd it is to list those two shows in the same sentence.) Disney+ will premiere Muppets Mayhem in May, and the Bridgerton spinoff Queen Charlotte also debuts this month.
