It seems Nintendo are determined to hype up the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Not that I think the additional hype is necessary given how much hype it already has as the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it’s still good nonetheless. How else do you explain Nintendo releasing a final pre-launch trailer for the game? And less than a month before the game goes live to boot. Don’t believe me? Then why not check out that trailer for yourself below, and revel in the teases about the story?
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ~ Now With Party Members?!
Nintendo of America is proud to unveil the third official trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on YouTube. As I mentioned before, according to the video description, this is the final pre-launch trailer for the game before its release. I don’t doubt that there will be a release trailer on the day of said release though. However, what we got is still absolutely, jaw-droppingly amazing.
First off, can I just say that the music in this latest The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is incredible? The Legend of Zelda game have always had pretty good music. However, it seems like the composer(s) for this sequel game have gone all out for the music here. It basically screams “Epic Fantasy Music”.
And now with that out of the way, let’s talk about the most interesting part of this The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailer: the potential to have a party in this sequel game. We see Link fighting with Sidon against what appears to be regular, run of the mill enemies. We also see Link fighting alongside a young white-feathered Rito and Lady Riju as well. Honestly, it’s looking more and more like you get to form a party with various characters from Breath of the Wild, as well as in this sequel game. If this is true, the possibilities for character interactions and story potential are endless.
We’ll just have to see if this is the case when The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom releases for the Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023. You can preorder your own copy of the game at the Nintendo eShop, and then eagerly await that release date. I know I will. Tune back in to THS later for more The Legend of Zelda news as we get it.
