Sweet Reincarnation looks like a culinary delight based on panels from the manga and light novel illustrations, and it seems like the anime is looking to be just as delicious-looking. Especially when you look at the new and very first trailer for the anime they just served up. Don’t believe me? Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice?

My god, just look at the detail on those desserts. They’re already making me drool in anticipation.

TOBOOKS is proud to unveil this very first trailer for Sweet Reincarnation on YouTube. As you might guess from the title, this anime adaptation of the light novel series by writer Nozomu Koryu and artist Yasuyuki Shuri is all about the main character making delicious desserts. Based solely on what we see in this trailer, I already anticipate people drooling at the culinary delights on display.

Said trailer for Sweet Reincarnation seems to start off as a typical isekai anime, albeit with the main character dying from some kind of large sculpture of a bird falling on him. Very quickly though, it becomes obvious that our MC isn’t interested in the typical fantasy adventure isekai protagonists get into. Instead, all he wants to be is a pâtissier, which is a fancy way of saying pastry chef. The only thing on his mind are delicious pastries and confections. As you can see in the thumbnail image above, the anime goes all out in depicting those desserts for us. To the point where they make you sigh, and want to go out for cake and assorted sweet baked goods.

Not only that, but the very end of that trailer gives us a release date for this delicious anime. Apparently, Sweet Reincarnation will make its debut sometime in July 2023. That’s only a few months away as of this writing, so it’s not that long a wait for this delectable anime. Unfortunately, we don’t know if Crunchyroll will be streaming it or not. That’s something we’ll have to wait for later. Tune back in to THS to find that out when we do.
