Star Wars Celebration is in full swing and started out with a bang! The Star Wars Celebration’s Lucasfilm Studio Showcase panel started out with executive producer Tony Gilroy joined by Diego Luna, Andy Serkis, and more of the cast to announce the expected release of Andor Season 2. While an exact date was not released they did say they expect the series to hit Disney+ in August of 2024.

“We started shooting in November, We’re about halfway. We’re gonna shoot through August. We’re on exact schedule. We’ll finish in August, spend another year on post. I suppose we’ll come out the following August.”

Fans at Celebration were also treated to an Andor season 2 teaser trailer filled with a bunch of action and of course more of the start of the Rebellion. This teaser started with a voice saying…

“I had a feeling you were coming back soon, if we do not stand together, we will be crushed.” During this, we also see Andor together with Dedra, Bix, and Syril. Hopefully, fans not at Celebration will get a look at this teaser as well. “We have hope. Rebellions are built on hope.”
