The first-ever Power Trip festival is taking place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on October 6th-8th. The concert, put on by Goldenvoice, will feature hard rock/heavy metal’s biggest artists ever.
Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden will share the stage on Friday for the first time since 1988. On Saturday, AC/DC will return to the stage for the first time in seven years, alongside a return from Ozzy Osbourne. Finally, to wrap it up, Metallica and Tool close out the titanic festival.
You can get information about tickets and VIP packages on their website powertrip.live/. To buy tickets, you need to register first and they’ll go on sale on April 4th at 10:00AM PT for VIP. The non-VIP tickets go on sale 4/6 at 10AM.
This is the biggest heavy metal event in the history of Southern California, so you don’t want to miss out. Plus, it might be the only time Iron Maiden takes The Future Past tour on the road in the US in 2023.
Metallica has a new album releasing on April 14th, titled 72 Seasons. AC/DC hasn’t been on stage in 7 years due to health issues from Brian Johnson. Guns N’ Roses has been out on tour almost constantly since they reformed with Slash and Duff McKagan.
