Fans of The Ancient Magus’ Bride might remember that a recent trailer showed off the new opening theme music for the upcoming season 2 of the anime. Well, they’ve now released a new trailer that shows off the new ending theme music. Don’t believe me? Then why don’t you check out that new ending theme music for yourself below?

A Perfect Ending Theme Music?

Along with some more of that dark fantasy we’ve come to know and love about this anime.

Anime production company Twin Engine Inc. has just revealed a new trailer for The Ancient Magus’ Bride season 2 on YouTube. As you can see, this new trailer gives us more footage of Chise’s school arc. As well as the further developing relationship between Chise and Elias, but that was never in doubt.

However, those aren’t the things we’re focusing on for today. No, what the star is in this new The Ancient Magus’ Bride season 2 trailer is the aforementioned ending theme music that will presumably play during the ending credits of every episode of season 2. Or at the very least, for half of season 2. That is assuming that season 2 will have 24 episodes in it like season 1. Anyways, the song in question is, according to Crunchyroll, “Mubansou” by edda. Her deep contralto here is a perfect complement to JUNNA in the opening theme music here. This anime is known for its really good opening and ending theme music, and season 2 is looking to be no exception.

My, this doesn’t look ominous at all.

So when will we see Chise and Elias return to the world of anime? Well, The Ancient Magus’ Bride season 2 will premiere on April 6, 2023. Presumably, Crunchyroll will stream season 2 of this anime, since they’re also streaming season 1 and the OVA series The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Boy From the West and the Knight of the Mountain Haze. Unfortunately, we don’t actually yet have confirmation of that from Crunchyroll. We’ll just have to see if Crunchyroll will stream it on that date.
