Scream VI has finally arrived, and with it, franchise fans have flocked to theaters to find out who lives, who dies, and who Ghostface is revealed to be. If you can’t get to the theater yet, you skipped out before the Scream VI post-credits scene, or you’re having trouble remembering some of those pesky details, don’t worry because we’ve got you covered. Of course, that means we will be diving head first into Scream VI spoilers, so if you do not want to be spoiled, this is the time to stop reading. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
SCREAM VI POST-CREDITS SCENE
Unlike Marvel or DC post-credits scenes, the stinger at the end of Scream VI is just some fun meta-commentary for the fans. Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown) appears, and simply says, “Not every movie needs a post-credits scene,” before the screen fades to black. That’s it.
So, this fits right in line with Scream and how the franchise gets meta with the horror genre. They’re doing the same thing with this post-credits scene, rewarding loyal viewers who stuck around to the very end of the credits and poking fun at those same fans.
SCREAM VI KILL ORDER
There are several moments throughout the film in which it seems as though a character has died, or is on the verge of death. We’ll mark those incidents as fake deaths. There are also some kills that happen off-screen, so we’ll be using the order in which the deaths were seen, which may vary slightly from the order in which they actually happened within the timeline of the film.

GHOSTFACE REVEAL
If you want to be super technical, there are actually six Ghostface killers in Scream VI. At the beginning of the film, Jason and his roommate Greg are revealed to be Ghostface killers trying to finish what Richie Kirsch (Jack Quaid) started in Scream 5. However, the real Ghostface kills them both to make sure they don’t get in the way of their plans.
At the very end of the movie, Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera) dons the Ghostface mask and costume, but only to kill the real Ghostface with some added flair. The real Ghostface is actually three people: Detective Bailey, his daughter Quinn, and his son, Ethan.
The big reveal is that Richie was also Detective Bailey’s son. The entire family was getting revenge for Richie’s death in Scream 5 by killing Sam and everyone close to her. Thus, finishing what Richie started.
