The Rian Johnson mystery universe strikes again. Poker Face is now Peacock’s highest-ranked original series, according to Nielsen’s streaming charts.
The whodunnit comedy opened at #3 in Nielsen’s Top 10 Original Streaming Series ranking. During the January 23-29 viewing window of the show’s premiere, viewers tuned in for a whopping 547 million minutes.
Prior to Poker Face’s debut, Peacock’s top original comedy was The Best Man: The Final Chapters, which landed a #5 spot on Nielsen. The series’ performance even outranks Peacock’s former biggest series, the drama Bel-Air.
Poker Face stars Natasha Lyonne as Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.
The series comes from creator/writer/director Johnson (Knives Out films).
New episodes of Poker Face premiere Thursdays. You can catch up on all the episodes of season 1 so far on Peacock. The season finale premieres March 9, but the show already scored a season 2 renewal. So, you can look forward to even more murder and Charlie antics in the future.
