If you can’t get enough of possession horror flicks, Sony Pictures has a new one for you: The Pope’s Exorcist

The movie stars Russell Crowe as Father Gabriele Amorth, who serves as (you guessed it) Chief Exorcist for the Vatican.

Or as his character puts it, “You have a problem with me, you talk to my boss… the Pope.”

Watch the trailer for The Pope’s Exorcist below.

The Pope’s Exorcist follows Amorth as he investigates a young boy’s terrifying possession and ends up uncovering a centuries-old conspiracy the Vatican has desperately tried to keep hidden. It draws inspiration from the actual files of the real-life Father Amorth, published as the books An Exorcist Tells His Story and An Exorcist: More Stories.

Michael Petroni and Evan Spiliotopoulos adapted the screenplay, which Julius Avery directed. In addition to Crowe, the film stars Daniel Zovatto, Alex Essoe, and Franco Nero.

Crowe recently appeared in Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, as well as Peacock’s Poker Face series.

The Pope’s Exorcist premieres in theaters April 14.
