Gerard Butler is the new king of the mid-budget action movie and Plane shows that. The new film from Lionsgate that took the box office by storm earlier this year is now heading to Blu-ray and 4K UHD on March 28th.

Plane stars Gerard Butler, Mike Colter, Yoson An, Daniella Pineda, and Paul Ben-Victor. It was directed by Jean-Francois Richet with a script from Charles Cumming and J.P. Davis. For those that need a bit of a refresher on Plane, here’s the official synopsis.

In the white-knuckle action movie Plane, pilot Brodie Torrance (Gerard Butler) saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on a war-torn island – only to find that surviving the landing was just the beginning. When most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, the only person Torrance can count on for help is Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter), an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI. In order to rescue the passengers, Torrance will need Gaspare’s help, and will learn there’s more to Gaspare than meets the eye.

The 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD will all be available for $42.99, $39.99, and $26.99, respectively.
