Dungeons And Dragons: Honor Among Thieves releases in just a few weeks. And during IGN Fan Fest, the movie revealed a new, exclusive clip:
In this clip, we see our band of heroes using the Speak With Dead spell to talk to a corpse. And directors John Frances Daley and Jonathan Goldstein did break this scene down for IGN as well.
They did mention something about what exactly the tram was doing with the corpse, which it was mentioned:
“Simon, our sorcerer, has a cleric’s token that allows him to speak to the dead. They realize they could interrogate corpses to find out what happened to this helmet over the course of this battle.”
Now Daley also mentioned that:
“The scene is pivotal to the plot, in which the quartet attempts to locate the helmet of Mordenkainen’s Disjunction, which was ‘lost battle a century ago.'”
Now, this is just one part of the film’s entire story arc. However, we still don’t know what the endgame is going to be. But with Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves finally releasing on March 31st, we will get to see how the entire story shapes out.
