Harley Quinn, meet The Joker.
Lady Gaga gave us the first image of her portrayal of Harley Quinn on Valentine’s Day in Joker: Folie à Deux on Twitter. The film comes from writer/director Todd Phillips and sees the return of Joaquin Phoenix as Joker. It also stars Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, and Lady Gaga. It’s the sequel to 2019’s Joker. That film went on to gross $1.07 billion at the box office, becoming the first R-rated movie to ever do that.
Joker: Folie à Deux is supposed to release in theaters on October 6th, 2024. It’s a strange one that we don’t have a lot of details on. It’s supposed to have some musical sections and focus on the love affair between Harley and Joker. We’ll have to see how it turns out when it releases.
