An assassin monkey’s work is never done. Hit-Monkey officially landed the green light for a second season at Hulu.

The animated Marvel series follows a Japanese snow monkey after its tribe was slaughtered. He joins forces with the ghost of an American assassin and together, they begin killing their way through the Yakuza underworld. The first season of 10 episodes dropped over a year ago in November 2021.

Hit-Monkey comes from co-creators and executive producers Josh Gordon and Will Speck. The main voice cast from season 1 will return for season 2, including Fred Tatasciore as Hit-Monkey; Ally Maki as Haruka, an honest cop from a small town; Olivia Munn as Akiko, the smart and ambitious niece of the future prime minister; and Jason Sudeikis as Bryce, a world-weary assassin who makes poor life choices.

Leslie Jones will also join the cast for season 2. However, we don’t have any details about her character just yet.

Hit-Monkey comes from 20th Television Animation, which also produces Solar Opposites, Koala Man, and the upcoming Futurama reboot for Hulu.

Season 2 of Hit-Monkey doesn’t have a release date yet, but check back to THS for more updates. You can stream season 1 on Hulu now.
