Buckle up, Fast Family. Our first look at Fast X is now just days away.
Franchise star and official leader of la familia himself Vin Diesel shared a poster for the upcoming Fast & Furious movie on social media today. The image shows a shadowed glimpse of his character, Dom Toretto, holding his signature rosary. The poster features the tagline “The End of the Road Begins” – a reference to this upcoming film marking the penultimate outing of the franchise.
Check out the poster in Diesel’s tweet below.
Diesel also took the opportunity to let fans know when they can expect to see the official trailer for Fast X. It will apparently drop at 8am PST / 11am EST on Friday, February 10. (That’s slightly sooner than previously expected, as it was rumored to debut during the Super Bowl on February 12.)
Fast X will see the return of many familiar faces, including Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michael Rooker, Daniela Melchior, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, and Charlize Theron.
And it wouldn’t be the penultimate chapter of one of the biggest blockbuster franchises of all time without some big-name guests, either. Confirmed appearances include Jason Momoa, Brie Larson, Rita Moreno, and Alan Ritchson.
The Universal Pictures film comes from director Louis Leterrier.
As for the plot of Fast X… well, we don’t know just yet. But I’m pretty sure no member of the Fast Family – myself included – is getting too hung up on the franchise’s storylines. We’re mostly just waiting to see how these car stunts can get any more ridiculous (complimentary) than going to space. (Feel free to drop your predictions in the comments below. Personally, I’m still rooting for that Jurassic Park crossover.)
Stay tuned for the official trailer drop next week, and catch Fast X in theaters this May.
