Kaguya-sama: Theater is War?
Aniplex of America and Crunchyroll are proud to announce that they will soon be bringing Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends- to NA theaters. And on a most appropriate date to boot. What date is that, you might ask? Well apparently, this anime film will hit theaters on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. In other words: right on Valentine’s Day, and highly appropriate for our oddball couple of Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane.
Apparently, that date will mark a special 2-day screening of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends- at NA theaters. You can, in fact, purchase tickets for this anime film right now at Fandango. It’s just over 2 weeks away, so you have plenty of time to purchase tickets to this. However, be aware that this screening is for the original Japanese version with English subtitles only. So if you’re one of those people who want to watch the English dub, then you’re going to have to wait a bit longer for that.
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends-: Synopsis
Are you curious about what Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends- is about? You know, as a teaser before the actual anime film screening? Well, we’re in luck. Aniplex of America and Crunchyroll have an official synopsis of this anime film for us today. You can check it out below:
Shuchiin Academy’s student council room, the place where Student Council Vice President Kaguya Shinomiya and President Miyuki Shirogane met. After a long battle in love, these two geniuses communicated their feelings and, at the Hoshin Festival, had their very first kiss. However, there was no clear confession of love. The relationship between these two, who assumed they would be a couple, remains ambiguous. Now, overly conscious of their feelings, they must face the biggest challenge yet: Christmas. It’s Shirogane who wants it to be perfect versus Kaguya who pursues the imperfect situation. This is the very “normal” love story of two geniuses and the first kiss that never ends.
