Have you ever wanted to know what a Pope crawl is? Well it turns out, you’ll learn if you watch Ghost’s latest Chapter. In Chapter 15, Ghost announced a new single version of “Spillways” featuring vocals from Joe Elliott of Def Leppard. That’s an interesting pairing for one of the best tracks off their 2022 album Impera.

It’s an interesting choice but one that makes sense for Ghost the more you think about it. Ghost started off hard and heavy, as any band out there, and has evolved into some hybrid between Blue Oyster Cult and a heavy metal band. Def Leppard also started out as heavy as any of the NWOBHM bands and evolved into a more pop sound as they’ve gone on. It’s a match made in heaven or hell, depending on who you ask.
