One of my favorite shows of 2021 is finally coming back for season 2! Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia was a hidden gem I found during the pandemic. Season 1 of Ginny & Georgia proved a smash hit for Netflix. The show made the Top 10 list in 87 countries (!). Plus, it took the #1 spot in 46 countries, including the US. Overall, more than 52 million households tuned in to watch the show in its first 28 days.

After seasons 1’s success, Netflix announced season 2 in April 2021. So, we’ve all been sitting here twiddling our thumbs waiting for season 2 to finally hit the streaming service. The wait is over! Netflix has finally released the airdate for Ginny & Georgia season 2, as well as dropped from first look images, and synopsis.

WHAT IS SEASON 2 OF GINNY & GEORGIA GOING TO BE ABOUT?

How do you live with the knowledge that your mother is a murderer? That’s what Ginny is going to have to figure out. Burdened with the new understanding that Kenny – her step-dad – didn’t die of natural causes, now she must deal with the fact that Georgia not only killed, she killed to protect Ginny. Georgia on the other hand would much prefer that the past be left in the past, after all, she’s got a wedding to plan! But the funny thing about Georgia’s past is that it never stays buried for long…
