Charon is confirmed for the upcoming John Wick spinoff feature, Ballerina. Lance Reddick will reprise his role as the concierge at the Continental.
Since the fan-favorite hotel for assassins takes center stage in the upcoming film, it makes a lot of sense that Charon would play a part in the story.
“Charon is an indispensable part of the world of Wick. It’s great to know that Lance will continue to make his mark on this franchise,” said producer Erica Lee in a statement.
Ballerina follows a young woman (Ana de Armas) who uses her killer skills to get revenge when her family is killed by hitmen. The film comes from director Len Wiseman and writer Shay Hatten.
A few other John Wick universe alums will also join Reddick in Ballerina, including Anjelica Huston and Ian McShane.
Reddick’s recent credits include Netflix’s Resident Evil series and the final season of Bosch on Prime Video. He will next appear in the White Men Can’t Jump reboot and the Shirley Chisholm biopic Shirley.
Prior to Ballerina, Reddick’s Charon will appear in John Wick: Chapter 4, premiering March 2023. Until then, check back to THS for more updates.
