Question: how do you build up hype for the upcoming TV adaptation of The Last of Us game? Well, the answer seems to be with a bunch of new character posters just for us.

Character Posters Galore!

The official Twitter account of The Last of Us TV adaptation has just posted a veritable bounty of new character posters. All seemingly to promote the upcoming live-action fungus zombie horror TV adaptation. From the looks of the posters though, it’s working. As you can see above, Pedro Pascal is doing a remarkable job looking like Joel from the game, which is great since he’s one of the main protagonists. The rest of the posters do an equally as impressive job depicting the other characters from the TV adaptation/video game.

This The Last of Us TV adaptation will air on January 15, 2023. So we won’t have long to wait until we see if the show lives up to this character art. Of course, it’s also a HBO Max exclusive, so you’re going to have to shell out cash for a paid subscription to watch it.
