White Noise promises a feature both “hilarious and horrifying” and “lyrical and absurd.”
The drama comes from writer/director Noah Baumbach. It sees Baumbach re-team with Marriage Story star Adam Driver.
Today, Netflix revealed the official trailer for the film. In addition to previewing the story to come, it also includes a new song by LCD Soundsystem, “new body rhumba.” Watch it below:

At once hilarious and horrifying, lyrical and absurd, ordinary and apocalyptic, White Noise dramatizes a contemporary American family’s attempts to deal with the mundane conflicts of everyday life while grappling with the universal mysteries of love, death, and the possibility of happiness in an uncertain world.
In addition to Driver, the film also stars Greta Gerwig, Don Cheadle, Raffey Cassidy, Sam Nivola, May Nivola, Lars Eidinger, Andre Benjamin, and Jodie Turner-Smith. Plus, it will include music composed by Danny Elfman. You can actually listen to the official soundtrack now.
Besides the official trailer, Netflix also revealed some special art for the film. Designed by Marija Tiurina, it will be distributed exclusively as a print during the film’s upcoming theatrical run.
White Noise premieres November 25 in theaters. It will later stream on Netflix beginning December 30.
