The Boys has been a tremendous hit for Prime Video across three seasons and spinoffs coming soon. According to our friends at One Take News, veteran actor Clancy Brown is joining the newest spinoff, Gen V. His role is unknown at the time, but he’ll be appearing in at least one episode and possibly more.
Clancy Brown has been a Hollywood staple for over three decades with roles in The Shawshank Redemption, A Nightmare On Elm Street, Thor: Ragnarok, Starship Troopers, and Spongebob Squarepants. He’s known for both tremendous live-action and voiceover roles.
The Boys: Gen V is described as “an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.”
The Boys: Gen V is in post-production and will release on Prime Video next year.
