Leslie Jordan was a lot of things to many different people. Most of us know him from his turn on Will and Grace or his 2020 social media posts that got plenty of people through the pandemic. Leslie passed away earlier today at the age of 67 after a medical complication while he was driving. He was a staple on shows like Murphy Brown, Ugly Betty, Will & Grace, and more. That popularity skyrocketed during the doldrums of 2020 when most of us were stuck inside by making videos for TikTok and other social media outlets that highlighted his personality.

He parlayed that newfound popularity into gigs on CNN’s New Years’ Eve with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. Leslie was electric and his secret was just being himself.
