The legendary William Shatner is the latest guest announced for LA Comic Con 2022!

Captain Kirk himself will headline the final day of the Con on Sunday, December 4. Shatner will participate in a main stage panel, as well as appear for photos and autographs.

 “In our world, it just doesn’t get any more iconic than William Shatner,” said Chris DeMoulin, CEO of Comikaze Entertainment, the event’s parent company. “He is consistently one of the most requested guests by our fans, and it goes without saying how influential Shatner’s depiction of Captain Kirk has been on pop culture for two generations. Shatner helped the legendary Gene Roddenberry create a world that we still aspire to, that resonates with fans all over the world.  If you’re a fan – and who isn’t?! – please don’t miss your chance to see and meet William Shatner on December 4th!”

Shatner played James T. Kirk in Star Trek: The Original Series, as well as The Animated Series and seven Trek movies. He joins LA Comic Con’s previously announced headliners, Simu Liu (December 2) and Wil Wheaton (December 3).

Other confirmed guests for LA Comic Con include Elijah Wood and Sean Astin of Lord of the Rings; Ming-Na Wen and Giancarlo Esposito of The Mandalorian; Amy Jo Johnson of Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers; and voice of Spongebob Squarepants, Tom Kenny, as well as many others.
