Marvel Studios announced a massive slate of films for upcoming years at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Naturally, plans change, things need to get moved around, and they’ve already started shifting release dates around. With the news that Blade‘s production has been halted for the time being while they search for a director, they were never going to meet the November 2023 release date. Now we’ll be seeing Blade on September 6th, 2024. In addition to that, the recently announced Deadpool 3 will come out in theaters on November 8th, 2024.

Fantastic Four might still be searching for the actual cast among other creative variables, so the film will now release on February 14th, 2025. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty has a slot for May 2nd, 2025, which means there wouldn’t be a lot of time for Secret Wars. Now, Avengers: Secret Wars will release on May 1st, 2026.

These release dates are obviously tentative because the previous ones were. Things change, and plans change, but it remains clear that Marvel Studios has backup plans.
