I’m not sure we’ve ever seen a superstar rise as much as Logan Paul has through the ranks of WWE before. The internet personality turned wrestler is now getting an Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match in Saudi Arabia against Roman Reigns. According to Dave Meltzer, they’re announcing the match tomorrow.
“WWE is holding a press conference in Las Vegas this Saturday to announce the main event for its November 5 Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia. Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul is planned to headline the PPV.”
Reigns recently appeared with Paul on his ImPaulsive podcast which led to Paul stating his desire to get in the ring with Roman. Paul made his WWE debut earlier this year at Wrestlemania 38 teaming with The Miz against Rey and Dom Mysterio. That match led to a program with The Miz where Paul defeated him at SummerSlam this year. For a celebrity wrestler, Paul has shown a natural acumen for business and sport. We’ll have to see how he does against WWE’s Tribal Chief though.
Crown Jewel comes from Saudi Arabia on November 5th, 2022.
