It’s been sitting on their official calendar for a while, but we haven’t had any news about it until now. Patty Jenkins‘s Star Wars movie Rogue Squadron has officially been moved off the slate. Borys Kit of THR gave out some details about the Disney release schedule.
In addition to Rogue Squadron, they had an Untitled Marvel movie that was previously dated on 2/16/24 has now been moved to 9/6/24. Other changes include:
- Haunted Mansion moving to 8/11/23 from 3/10/23
- Wish dated for 11/22/23
- Elio dated for 3/1/24
- Snow White dated for 3/22/23
- Inside Out 2 coming out on 6/14/24
- Mufasa: The Lion King releasing 7/5/24
As for Rogue Squadron, it seems like that film announced in 2020 won’t be coming out anytime soon. It hasn’t been officially canceled, but this is not a good step for people wanting to see that film.
