Who’s ready to make a scene?
For the Babylon crowd, the answer is “everyone, everywhere, all of the time.” The upcoming feature puts the Hollywood excess of 1920s Los Angeles on full display. Check out the trailer below, full of glitz, glamor, and Margot Robbie fighting a snake for the attention.
Babylon comes from Oscar-winning writer/director Damien Chazelle (La La Land, Whiplash). Chazelle reunites with Justin Hurwitz for the film’s music.
Paramount Pictures describes the movie as “a tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, tracing the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.”
Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, and Brad Pitt lead the feature. The ensemble also includes Jean Smart, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, P.J. Byrne, Lukas Haas, Olivia Hamilton, Tobey Maguire, Max Minghella, Rory Scovel, Katherine Waterston, Flea, Jeff Garlin, Eric Roberts, Ethan Suplee, Samara Weaving, and Olivia Wilde.
Babylon premieres exclusively in theaters. Limited release begins December 25, with wide release kicking off January 6.
