Now with an official release date in the bottom.

One Piece Film: Red is the 15th anime film of the One Piece anime film series, which is based on the fantasy adventure (and pirate if that’s a genre) manga of the same name by Eiichiro Oda. Toei Animation (Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, The Transformers (1984-1990)) is the animation studio behind this anime film, as they have been for all the previous anime films as well as the mainline anime series. Gorō Taniguchi is the director, with Tsutomu Kuroiwa writing the screenplay, and Eiichiro Oda himself as the executive producer, character designer, and script reviewer. Lastly, Crunchyroll is licensing this anime film for its NA release.

As for what One Piece Film: Red is about? Well, Crunchyroll has an official synopsis for this anime film. Check it out below:

“Uta—the most beloved singer in the world whose voice has been described as “otherworldly”—is renowned for concealing her own identity when performing. Now, for the first time ever, she will reveal herself to the world at a live concert.

With the Navy watching closely, the venue fills with Uta’s fans—including excited pirates and the Straw Hats led by Luffy, who simply came to enjoy her sonorous performance—all eagerly awaiting the voice that the whole world has been waiting for to resound. The story begins with the shocking revelation that she is the enigmatic Shanks’ daughter.”
