Originally, season two of Star Wars: The Bad Batch was announced in 2021. However, there were zero timelines for release. This past summer, fans were given the first trailer for the highly anticipated 2nd season, but still no release date.

However, announced today at the D23 Expo 2022, Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 2 will premiere on January 4, 2022th! The season premiere will drop the first two episodes of its 16-episode season.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is an animated series created by Dave Filoni for Disney+. The series is both a sequel, as well as a spin-off of Star Wars: Clone Wars. In this series, Clone Force 99, also known as the Bad Batch, is a group of elite clone troopers with genetic mutations. They were first introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars – which is a take on daring mercenary missions in the aftermath of the Clone Wars. 

Voice Actor Icon, Dee Bradley Baker stars as the Bad Batch consisting of Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Echo. While Michelle Ang 

Michelle Ang, who I love from the old series The Tribe plays Omega. Omega is a young female clone working as a medical assistant on Kamino. She is an unmodified replication of Jango Fett, but is genetically deviant from standard clone templates and therefore feels a kind of kinship with the crew.

The first season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch premiered on May 4, 2021, and ran for 16 episodes.
