WHAT IS HIGH SCHOOL?
The new series, High School is based on the best-selling memoir of the same name by platinum recording artists Tegan and Sara. The trailer for the series includes a cover of the Smashing Pumpkins song, “Today” by Tegan and Sara. Which you can only listen to on Amazon Music!
The first 4 episodes of the series drop on Amazon Freevee in the U.S., as well as the UK beginning on October 14th. Then, two episodes will air each Friday until their 8th and final episode airs. The series will be available in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand beginning on October 28th.

High School is a story about finding your own identity—a journey made even more complicated when you have a twin whose own struggle and self-discovery so closely mimic your own. Told through a backdrop of ‘90s grunge and rave culture, the series weaves between parallel and discordant memories of twin sisters growing up down the hall from one another.

Starring in the series is TikTok creators Railey and Seazynn Gilliland as high school versions of Tegan and Sara. Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) and Kyle Bornheimer (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) play the twins’ parents, Simone and Patrick.
Executive producing the show is Clea DuVal and she will also direct several episodes. Also, Executive Producing is Tegan and Sara Quin, Laura Kittrell, and Plan B’s Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Carina Sposato. DuVall and Kittrell also serve as co-showrunners and co-writers.
