Written and Produced by Tyler Perry comes a story of forbidden love with A Jazzman’s Blues. Also, starring in the film are Joshua Boone and Solea Pfeiffer as Bayou and Leanne. Then, if you’re looking for a dramatic romance, this film unspools 40 years of secrets and lies. 

The film and trailer feature an original song, “Paper Airplanes”, performed by Ruth B., as well as songs arranged and produced by multi-Grammy winner & two-time Academy Award nominee Terence Blanchard. Also, music by Aaron Zigman and choreography by Debbie Allen.

A Jazzman’s Blues will make its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, September 11th. Then released on Netflix on September 23, 2022.
