If you loved Netflix’s Inventing Anna, it looks like you’ll need to add this to your watch queue. Fakes is a dramedy new series coming to the streaming platform about two best friends who accidentally build one of the largest FAKE ID empires in North America.

The besties move into a downtown penthouse with more cash than they know what to do with. However, after their penthouse is raided by the feds one of them goes to jail and the other…doesn’t. 

Told by 2 very unreliable narrators, Fakes is a story about the ultimate betrayal. Being told through their individual POVs and regular 4th wall breaks, this dramedy will be fighting for the last word!

Fakes will be 10 x 30-minute episodes starring Emilija Baranac (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, Riverdale), Richard Harmon (The 100), and Jennifer Tong (Grand Army, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow).

The series is written by David Turko (Warrior Nun) and newcomer, Tabia Lau. David Turko will also serve as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Other Executive Producers are Simon Barry, Stephen Hegyes, Lilly Burns, and Tony Hernandez.
