Already dreaming of spooks and scares this fall? You’re in luck. Netflix just revealed a first look at a new Halloween family feature, The Curse of Bridge Hollow.
The movie sees a teenage girl forced to team up with her father to save their town after an ancient and mischievous spirit causes Halloween decorations to come to life and wreak havoc.
Netflix fans will surely recognize teen lead Priah Ferguson. She’s used to fighting the supernatural as Erica Sinclair, Lucas’ sister on Stranger Things. Her on-screen father and fellow defender of Bridge Hollow will be none other than comedy legend Marlon Wayans.
You can check out a few first-look photos of The Curse of Bridge Hollow from Netflix below.
While we don’t have a trailer yet, the look and feel of this movie based on the pictures alone seems similar to the classic Halloweentown. Hopefully, Netflix has a new Halloween classic on their hands!
In addition to Wayans and Ferguson, the film stars Kelly Rowland, Rob Riggle, John Michael Higgins, Nia Vardalos, Lauren Lapkus, Holly J. Barrett, Myles Vincent Perez, Abi Monterey, and Helen Slayton-Hughes.
The Curse of Bridge Hollow comes from writers Todd Berger and Robert Rugan. Jeff Wadlow, EP of Nickelodeon’s Are You Afraid of the Dark?, directs.
The Curse of Bridge Hollow will premiere exclusively on Netflix October 14.
