Are you excited to dive back into the world of National Treasure? The cast and crew recently attended San Diego Comic-Con and gave fans an exclusive look at the upcoming series Edge of History.

We also got the chance to sit down with the cast to dive deeper into the show. Check out all our SDCC interviews for National Treasure: Edge of History below.

Lisette Olivera & Jake Austin Walker

Lisette Olivera plays series lead Jess, a brilliant and resourceful DREAMer. She embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to uncover the truth about her family’s mysterious past and save a lost Pan-American treasure. Jake Austin Walker joins her as Liam, a swoon-worthy struggling musician with a permanent chip on his shoulder, who comes from a long line of treasure hunters.

During our interview at SDCC, Olivera and Austin discussed how they got involved with Edge of History, working with Catherine Zeta-Jones, their favorite puzzles from the National Treasure franchise, locations they’d like to explore in a potential season 2, and more.

Antonio Cipriano & Zuri Reed

Zuri Reed plays Tasha, Jess’ ride-or-die best friend. She joins the treasure hunt, but is forced to reevaluate her belief system to help her friend. Antonio Cipriano plays Oren, a lovable but self-obsessed goofball with an encyclopedic knowledge of conspiracy theories that attempts to win back Tasha’s affections.

At SDCC, Cipriano and Reed revealed their biggest takeaways from the show, whether they consider themselves history buffs, and what they want their characters to explore in potential future seasons.

Lyndon Smith & Jordan Rodrigues

Jordan Rodrigues plays Ethan, Jess’ childhood best friend who has loved her since the day they met. Lyndon Smith plays FBI Agent Ross, a dogged investigator who begins to realize there’s a greater conspiracy at hand.

During SDCC, Smith and Rodrigues discussed their characters and filming in Baton Rouge, and even tease a special Nic Cage Easter egg.

Cormac & Marianne Wibberly

Cormac and Marianne Wibberly co-wrote the original National Treasure films. Now, the duo are writing Edge of History.

During our SDCC round table interview, the pair discussed what they carried over from the original films into the series, the themes of the new series, some of their favorite puzzles, and more.
