If you loved X, great news – you’re getting more from A24. A new trailer for Pearl just dropped online.

If you caught X in theaters, you saw a tease of the planned prequel in the post-credits. But this new trailer includes new footage too. Check it out below.

Pearl is an origin story style prequel, set decades before the events of X. The trailer teases plenty of dark, gory kills, from pitchforks to crocodiles. Here’s the official synopsis from A24:

Trapped on her family’s isolated farm, Pearl must tend to her ailing father under the bitter and overbearing watch of her devout mother. Lusting for a glamorous life like she’s seen in the movies, Pearl’s ambitions, temptations, and repressions all collide, in the stunning, technicolor-inspired origin story of X’s iconic villain.

The prequel comes from writers Mia Goth and Ti West. West also directs. 

The film stars Goth, David Corenswet, Tandi Wright, Matthew Sunderland, and Emma Jenkins-Purro.

Pearl will premiere in theaters September 16.
