Black Adam is one of the most anticipated DC films in recent memory. The film stars Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam, a character with immeasurable power. All that power couldn’t stop a delay for the film, when it moved from July to October of 2022, but during the Comic-Con 2022 Hall H panel for Warner Bros Theatrical, director Jaume Collet-Serra confirmed that the film is finished and done. The picture is locked, which means there are no changes to be made ahead of the release on October 21st, 2022.

That means that the VFX and other digital effects are finished on the film. Black Adam recently went through reshoots, which is normal for blockbuster films like this. We’ll have to see how it turns out when it releases this October.

During the Hall H panel for Warner Bros, they also showed off the newest trailer for Shazam: Fury of the Gods.
