Ever wanted to know what the Forger family in Spy x Family would look like dressed up for summer? Well, 7-Eleven is here to answer that question. Yes, really. Not making this up.
Summer Vacation for the Forger Family!
Twitter user Shiro recently posted a new bit of Spy x Family artwork made for a 7-Eleven promotion. As you can see above, the promo images depict the entire Forger family (minus Bond) dressed for the scorching summer. Part of the image seems to be cut off, but it doesn’t interfere with the important bits. Namely: the Forger family.
Loid, Anya, and Yor all wear light, breezy clothing and sun hats perfect for toughing out the heat. The sunflowers Loid is carrying in a grocery bag only add to the summer touch, along with the oranges and lemons. There’s nothing like a glass of ice-cold orange or lemon juice to relax with when the air is shimmering with heat. All in all, it’s a perfect Spy x Family image to relax with, especially while you’re reading the manga on Shonen Jump. Or even while you’re watching the anime on Crunchyroll.
Spy x Family: Details
Spy x Family is the anime adaptation of the action-comedy spy manga of the same name by Tatsuya Endo. Wit Studio (Attack on Titan, The Ancient Magus’ Bride, Ranking of Kings) and CloverWorks (The Promised Neverland, Wonder Egg Priority, Shadows House) are the animation studios behind the anime. Kazuhiro Furuhashi directed and wrote for the anime, with Makoto Miyazaki and Shūhei Mutsuki of [K]NoW_NAME composing the jazzy music you hear. Lastly, Crunchyroll licensed this anime for its NA release.
As for what Spy x Family is about? Well, Crunchyroll has an official synopsis for us on this anime’s page. Check it out below:
“World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath!”
You can watch Spy x Family only on Crunchyroll. This anime is available in both the original Japanese with English subtitles and various dubs, so you’re spoiled for choice here. Unfortunately, only the first 3 episodes are free with ads. The rest requires a premium account to view, so you’re going to have to shell out money to watch them.
