I sat down with Isaiah Crews and Gabrielle Nevaeh Green to talk about the upcoming Nickelodeon Slime Cup. Nickelodeon Slime Cup is a brand-new hour-long golf competition that features four teams as they compete on a “Nick-ified” golf course to reach an unpredictable final round taking place inside the iconic Rose Bowl stadium.

The special will simulcast on Saturday, June 25, at 8PM (ET/PT) across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, and Nicktoons.

Interview with Isaiah Crews and Gabrielle Nevaeh

Isaiah Crews is on the Pink Team in Nickelodeon Slime Cup alongside professional golfer and recent PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas and WWE Superstar Nikki Bella. He currently stars as Munchy in Side Hustle, Lex and Presley’s best friend and neighbor.

Gabrielle Nevaeh Green will provide commentary in the Nickelodeon Slime Cup booth alongside Young Dylan and CBS Sports’ play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle. She currently stars in That Girl Lay Lay as Sadie, a teen who wants to make an impact on the world.

Green is no stranger to the world of commentary. She was the co-host of the NFL Wild Card Game on the Nickelodeon Halftime Show. Now she gets to bring her insight and charm to the World of Golf. During our interview, she talked to us about how she picked up great tips from CBS Sports’ play-by-play announcer Eagle.

Crews has been working in television since he was five years old, when he starred alongside his parents, Terry and Rebecca Crews, and his siblings in the reality series The Family Crews (BET). Crews talked to us about the excitement of competing against professional athletes.

About Nickelodeon Slime Cup

Taking place inside the iconic Rose Bowl stadium, Nickelodeon Slime Cup is a brand-new hour-long golf competition. It will feature four teams as they compete on a “Nick-ified” golf course to reach the final round.

In true Nickelodeon fashion, the fairways and greens of this event will be decked out with one-of-a-kind tee boxes, physical challenges, and lots of slime. The four teams will compete in a two-round tournament, with holes inspired by fan-favorite Nickelodeon shows. The event will all lead up to the final round known as “The Unfairway” – the final hole where players battle it out to win the ultimate Nickelodeon Slime Cup, a Nick orange blazer, and the epic honor of getting slimed.

Nick stars Green and Young Dylan, and CBS Sports’ play-by-play announcer Eagle will provide commentary in the booth and bring the same perspectives they brought to the NFL Wild Card Game on Nickelodeon, while actors Jerry Trainor (iCarly) and Hunter March (Betch) serve as sideline reporters.

Nickelodeon Slime Cup Teams

Nickelodeon Slime Cup will team up pro-golfers, celebrities, and Nickelodeon stars. Kid competitors Tyler Wladis, Jaidyn Triplett, Isaiah Crews, and Kate Godfrey will lead the teams. Joining them are golf pros Jon Rahm, Lexi Thompson, Collin Morikawa, and Justin Thomas, plus New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, Terry Crews, and WWE Superstar Nikki Bella.

Green Team: Professional Golfer Collin Morikawa; Actor, Host and Author Terry Crews; and Nick star Jaidyn Triplett.

Pink Team: Professional Golfer and recent PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas; WWE Superstar Nikki Bella; and Nick star Isaiah Crews.

Red Team: Professional Golfer Jon Rahm; NFL Superstar Justin Herbert; and Nick star Kate Godfrey.

Orange Team: Professional Golfer Lexi Thompson; NFL Superstar Saquon Barkley; and Nick star Tyler Wladis.

Nickelodeon Slime Cup will simulcast on Saturday, June 25, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, and Nicktoons.
