The new HBO Max series offers a dark take on the original teen melodrama, with a new generation of Little Liars at its center. The streamer dropped its first look at the show today. So, you can check out the teaser below.

Here’s the official description of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin:

Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in present day, a disparate group of teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin committed by their parents two decades ago…as well as their own. In the dark, coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN, we find ourselves miles away from Rosewood, but within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe — in a brand-new town, with a new generation of Little Liars.

The main cast features Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco. The show also stars Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson, and Alex Aiono.

PLL: Original Sin comes from writers and executive producers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, the team behind Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Aguirre-Sacasa also helmed the CW teen drama Riverdale. I. Marlene King, who developed the original Pretty Little Liars, executive produces Original Sin. The original series was based on the bestselling novels by Sara Shepard.

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin premieres Thursday, July 28 on HBO Max with three episodes. The series will then drop episodes 4 and 5 on August 4; episodes 6 and 7 on August 11; and the final three episodes of the season on August 18.
