Who are you going to call? GHOSTBUSTERS! Fans of the Ghostbusters franchise have been chomping at the bit waiting for more details on the new movie that was announced at Cinemacon by Sony Pictures. And after the response that Ghostbusters: Afterlife received we can see why. Well, late last night we finally got some more details on the upcoming film by a tweet from the Ghostbusters Twitter account.
“The last time we saw Ecto-1, it was driving back into Manhattan: the home of Ghostbusters. That’s where our story begins. The code name is FIREHOUSE.”
That’s right it looks as if we are returning to the old firehouse where it all started for the original crew. As you may recall we saw Ecto-1 heading back to Manhattan. There we see Ecto-1 back in the firehouse and Winston places his hand on it. Then the scene cuts to the red light blinking on the ghost containment unit. So could Winston be heading up the new Ghostbusters? We don’t know but we can’t wait to find out more.
