Baby Groot Returns In August

Everyone’s favorite talking tree returns this summer for new adventures. The Disney+ series of shorts “I Am Groot” premieres in August.

The five original shorts star Baby Groot from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy films. Here’s the official logline from Disney:

There’s no guarding the galaxy from this mischievous toddler! So get ready as Baby Groot takes center stage in his very owns series, exploring his glory days growing up—and getting into trouble—among the stars.

The shorts will see Vin Diesel reprise his voice role as Groot. 

“I Am Groot” comes from writer/director Kirsten Lepore and executive producer Kevin Feige.  Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, and James Gunn also executive produce.

“I Am Groot” includes five original shorts and premieres exclusively on Disney+ August 10.
