Ready for a Neil Patrick Harris-led romantic comedy series? (Of course you are.) Netflix today revealed the first look at Uncoupled. The series follows a man struggling to navigate life after his husband of nearly two decades suddenly leaves him.
Check out the teaser for the show below.
In Uncoupled, Michael (Neil Patrick Harris) thought his life was perfect until his husband blindsides him by walking out the door after 17 years. Overnight, Michael has to confront two nightmares — losing what he thought was his soulmate and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-forties in New York City.
The series comes from the creative team of Darren Star (Sex and the City, Emily In Paris) and Jeffrey Richman (Modern Family, Frasier). They serve as executive producers on Uncoupled, along with Harris, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns.
We don’t know too much more about the show just yet. But Netflix did release some first-look images along with the teaser. You can see them below.
The first season of the show will include eight 30-minute episodes.
Uncoupled premieres on Netflix July 29.
