Space, the final frontier… Trek fans, it’s almost time to return to the starship Enterprise. Today, Paramount+ revealed the opening titles for their latest series, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
The series takes fans back to when Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. Strange New Worlds will follow Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.

“Space… the final frontier,” begins the voiceover narration. “These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five year mission, to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life, and new civilizations. To boldly go where no one has gone before.”
Following the narration, the title sequence shows the starship Enterprise cruising through space, passing unknown planets, glowing nebulas, and countless stars. The visuals look beautiful, which should give fans a taste of what they can look forward to when Strange New Worlds premieres.
The series will feature fan favorites from season two of Star Trek: Discovery: Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock. Additional familiar characters set to appear in the show include Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding), Nurse Christine Chapel (Jess Bush), and Dr. M’Benga (Babs Olusanmokun).
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds premieres on Paramount+ May 5.
