In 2009, The Time Traveler’s Wife novel got its first adaptation with the film starring Rachel McAdams (Dr. Strange) and Eric Bana (The Hulk). Now, fans of both are in for a treat with the new series coming to HBOMax! When the news was first announced, all we were given was a vague time frame, but now we have an official premiere date!
The Time Traveler’s Wife is an intricate and magical love story about Henry (Theo James – Divergent), a man with a genetic disorder that causes him to time travel unpredictably. As well as Claire (Rose Leslie – Game of Thrones), his wife, and artist who has to cope with his frequent absences and dangerous experiences of reappearing in odd places.

Fans can get ready because The Time Traveler’s Wife series will debut SUNDAY, May 15 on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max!
Along with James and Leslie, the new series also stars Desmin Borges (Utopia) as Gomez, and Natasha Lopez (Law and Order)as Charisse. The Time Travelrs Wife is HBO and Warner Bros. Television production based on the book by Audrey Niffenegger, is executive produced by writer Steven Moffat (“Doctor Who,” “Sherlock”), director David Nutter (“Game of Thrones”); Sue Vertue, and Brian Minchin through Hartswood Films; and Joseph E. Iberti.
