The CW has grown into a DC Television Mecca with a handful of other drama’s thrown in. Now, the network has announced that they have early renewed 7 series for the 2022-2023 season!
THE CW SHOWS GIVEN EARLY RENEWAL FOR 2022-2023?
Those shows include, “All American,” “The Flash,” “Kung Fu,” “Nancy Drew,” “Riverdale,” “Superman & Lois” and “Walker”.
Here is the statement from Chairman and CEO of The CW network, Mark Pedowitz about this renewal announcement.
“As we prepare for the 2022-23 season, these scripted series, along with the alternative series we renewed earlier, will serve as the start of a solid foundation utilizing some of our most-watched series for us to build on for next year and beyond. These dramas are also important to our overall digital strategy, as they are some of our most-streamed and socially-engaged programming, and we look forward to adding more new and returning series to help strengthen and expand our multiplatform footprint.”

These early renewals are in addition to the previously announced series renewals of Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Masters of Illusion both for season 9. As well as, World’s Funniest Animals for season 3.
This additional renewal announcement sends All American in season 5, The Flash catching up with Smallville for season 9. Returning for season 3 are a few newer series: Kung Fu, Superman & Lois, and Walker, which stars Jared Padelecki. Nancy Drew will return for season 4. Renewed for season 7 is Riverdale – the show that will never die.
